Legal and Effective Interviewing
This workshop addresses the skills and knowledge required to conduct effective employment interviews and choose the right person for the job. It is designed to help employers avoid the pitfalls of asking inappropriate or illegal questions in violation of the Civil Rights Act (Title VII) and the Americans with Disabilities Act. The seminar also includes an outline of a typical interview and sample questions designed to gather comprehensive applicant information including behavior-based interview questions. Upon completion of this program, attendees will have the knowledge and material to conduct their own in-house training on the subject.
