  Wage and Salary Survey

Survey Procedures

Please read and carefully follow ALL survey procedures and directions.
  1. First, complete all survey items 1 through 8.
  2. If you hired a recent college graduate within the past year, please complete the Recent College Graduate Hiring Salary section.
  3. Next, carefully read the survey directions. Use the Index to identify and locate survey positions applicable to your organization. Match descriptions in the survey to your organization's positions and enter all information requested for each matching position. Report survey data in effect on May 1, 2009.
  4. Finally, complete the survey by the deadline date -- June 30, 2009
  5. Page information will only be saved after you press the Continue button.
RECORD ALL WAGES AND SALARIES FOR POSITIONS REPORTED IN THE SURVEY AS AN HOURLY RATE.


DEFINITIONS:
  • Non-exempt -- An hourly paid employee or a salaried employee who, under wage and hour regulations, must be paid overtime for hours worked that exceed 40 in a week.
  • Salaried Exempt -- An employee who is paid a fixed salary (fee or commission) for work performed (regardless of hours worked or quality of work) and, under wage and hour regulations, is not required to be paid overtime for hours worked that exceed 40 in a week.
  • Executive Group -- Top site official and managers who have responsibility for the implementation of facility's operational policies and programs.
